Pot Rivals, we, us means this app. League means a group you join to bet against, either Public (one open pool per country and competition, run by us) or Private (invite-only, created and configured by a member acting as Admin). Credits means the virtual balance every member gets when they join a league. Fixture means a real football match we display for betting.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Pot Rivals doesn't involve real-money wagering (see below), but we still set this baseline given the betting theme of the app.

Credits have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged, transferred for cash, or redeemed for anything of value, inside or outside the app. Pot Rivals does not hold — and doesn't need — a gambling license, because no real consideration is ever risked for a prize of monetary value.

Some private leagues describe a "payout rule" when they're set up (for example, top-of-the-table bragging rights, a points-only leaderboard, or an informal arrangement like "loser buys the first round"). That's just a description the league's members agreed among themselves. Pot Rivals doesn't administer, hold, guarantee, or enforce any such arrangement — it's purely between the people in that league.

One account per person. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Signing up requires verifying your email address, and you can reset your password at any time — see the login page.

Every league starts you with 10,000 credits. You bet those credits on real football fixtures at odds we calculate ourselves, and settle automatically once a fixture finishes. For the full walkthrough, see How to Play.

Don't exploit bugs to gain credits, create multiple accounts to manipulate a public league's leaderboard, or collude with others to unfairly affect settlement. We may reverse credits gained this way.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. You can stop using Pot Rivals at any time; contact us if you'd like your account and data removed.

Fixture and result data comes from a third-party provider (football-data.org) and can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Odds are Pot Rivals' own simplified model, not a real bookmaker's price. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature — including any future real-money mode — at any time.

Pot Rivals is provided as-is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that odds and results will always be accurate. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded or limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
